Aktar Patel: 786 Ride
Since 2005- till date - I joined a bullet club Inddie Thumpers and have been regularly riding with them.
From 2016, however “kuch alag karna hai” – this thought kept coming in my mind, I always thought of something that would leave my mark in the biker community.
Since India has mixed communities and to respect all religions- I decided to start the religious symbols ride starting with 786 ride being the first I was very doubtful – I didn’t know whether I would complete it- it was scary, I had fallen sick for 3-4 days. There were times that GPS gave up on me. But it the end it was completed.
I got great support for Limca book of records and google for completing the 786 figure.
Aktar Patel: Om Ride
With the success of 786 ride, I started better plannings for the AUM ride. Lessons learnt from the previous rides were implemented in this ride. I began to carry multiple mobile networks for navigation. Through networking I was able to connect with different biker communities, WhatsApp rider groups for the OM ride was created which allowed my family and close network to track my ride. I learn to limit my ride distance per day to a min 250 km – max 500 kms
East – West Ride Coast
Thumper legends Gautam Das and Daman Sidhu and a few other took up the challenge to ride across the continental US. ‘It was larger than life, the biggest bond, we hardly meet but when we meet we knock on heaven’s door and we party with hells angels”

K2K Ride
I had been planning to ride the K2K Solo ( Kanyakumari to Kashmir) on my Royal Enfield Interceptor. After some thought and planning I finally decided do it in and commenced riding from my Thane home on 26th January of 2023. I arrived at Kanyakumari ( Beginning of my K2K ride ) on 5th Feb 23 and on the way had various pit stops at Goa, Mangalore, Kochi.
From Kanyakumari left for Kashmir on 6th and arrived Srinagar on 22nd Feb 23 ( End of my K2K ride ).
Had various pit stops along the way at Rameshwaram, Madurai, Bangalore, Kurnool, Nizamabad, Nagpur, Sagar, Chandigarh and Jammu.
Left Srinagar on 25th and arrived Home on Thane on 3rd Mar 23 via various pitt stops at Pathankot, Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur, Vadodara and finally Home on 3rd Mar 2023.
It’s been an amazing experience tasting and relishing the local food along the highway dhabas and restaurants. On the way had the opportunity of spending time with complete strangers all across this beautiful country.
During this memorable ride I had a lot of encouragement from my wife, kids and grand kids, my biker group members of InddieThumpers and my friends.
